A Sunday hike
On Sunday, I took the kids up to Lincoln for some light hiking at Edward Madigan State Park. The weather was perfect. We're in that small window of time before bugs (i.e., spiders) and undergrowth make it difficult to traverse the forest.
I took the camera and my trusty 17-40 lens along for the hike. We spent most of the time playing, exploring and getting muddy, but I did stop for a few photos.

Love these pictures. The sand wave most particularly. Fun!
What I love about sand and kids is that the sand is self-cleaning; it just naturally falls away from hair and clothes like it was never there... Um, wait a sec. Nevermind.
Great pics, Dave. We've worn out Lincoln Gardens so its nice to know there exists another "search for castles and (nice) dragons" adventure opportunity nearby.
